Artiste peintre et comédienne, depuis son plus jeune âge Jessica Astier entretient un rapport intime avec la nature qui la guide dans ses créations.
C’est donc naturellement que l’art est devenu son moyen de donner un corps à l’invisible, un langage pour établir la connexion avec un monde sensible et intérieur.
Elle manifeste ainsi dans ses toiles le réveil des rites ancestraux, la magie des éléments, et l’incarnation de ces forces dans le corps des femmes qu’elle peint… Comme pour mettre en lumière ce qui fut, par le passé, contraint à demeurer dans l’ombre.
